Builder Profile 

PCS Construction, formed in 1994, is owned and operated by Percy and Debbie Schuurman. Percy grew up in Penticton, schooled in craftsmanship by his father, Ray, a cabinetmaker; first building a home with his dad in 1976.

A seasoned journeyman carpenter involved in construction for over 30 years, Percy regularly upgrades to keep up with changes in the construction industry, including sustainable and green building practices.  Clients appreciate Percy's ability to visualize beyond the blueprints to detect design problems and offer creative solutions, coupled with his ability to make changes "on the fly". 

PCS's carefully built reputation for precise craftsmanship and excellent customer service is maintained by serious quality-control. That's why, most days, Percy is on site, wearing a tool belt.  "My name and reputation are at stake, so I want it done right and it better meet, if not exceed expectations."  For this reason, Percy and his crew of exceptional long-term employees only commit to a couple of custom homes and renovations a year.
